Search engine optimisation

We offer businesses a comprehensive search engine optimisation service to help them increase their positions in the major search engines for the right search terms. This process normally includes the following stages.

Magnifying glass
  • Keyword identification/analysis
  • We help identify, with you, those keywords that best fit your business. We then expand by relative words and cross reference against which keywords are most commonly searched for and the level of competition on these words to identify those key words which you will have most success with.

  • Current site analysis
  • We undertake an analysis of your current site looking for the common mistakes, pitfalls and issues that lead to search engines being unable to index your site properly or gain information from it. During this stage we are looking at things such as, proper usage of title and meta tags, text as images, links as images and hidden navigation structures.

  • Site optimisation
  • We apply the knowledge gained in the first two stages to your website, resolving any issues uncovered in the site analysis, and optimising each page for a couple of keywords identified in the first stage. During this stage we will apply other search engine optimisation best practices such as generating and uploading sitemaps, making sure navigational structures and links are visible to the search engines and that keywords appear in prominent places.

  • Submission
  • We submit your site, with site maps where supported to the major search indexes and directories. We will also find and submit your site to directories relevant to your particular area of business or location and, if appropriate, to e-commerce directories and syndication sites.

  • Further information
  • After performing these services we will advise you on the basics of how page ranking works, places you can look to find more links to your site and the basic principles of search engine optimsation that you can look out for and follow in the future to keep your site optimised.
