Dan is a Computer Science graduate of the University of Aberystwyth, Wales.

As part of his degree, Dan spent a short time working for Hewlett Packard's technical computing division in Galway, Ireland. Dan then spent several months working for UK ISP Nildram Ltd's operations department, where his responsibilities involved providing technical support to technical support, fielding calls from business customers, helping to keep the company's UNIX servers running, fine tuning the mail and newsgroup servers, various in-house development projects, and making the coffee.

Dan has been a user and administrator of various UNIX systems for over five years, providing a range of services to friends and family.

After graduating as a scholarship student from Queen Elizabeth's Hospital school in Bristol, Sebastian successfully completed a Software Engineering (BEng) degree course at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, achieving a 2:1 grade.

Part of Sebastian's course involved a year spent employed in the industry, with overall managerial and operational control of the IT services of Brecon High School. The IT infrastructure was mostly Windows based and he gained substantial experience of the operation and structure of Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange 2000.

Seb has been an avid GNU/Linux user and administrator for several years, acquiring experience in such software packages as Apache, Postfix, Bind and IP Tables, and in his spare time makes loud noises with a variety of musical instruments.
